Genius Loci was the latin word given to an environment or person that held an undeniable spirit that is both protective and inspiring in nature.

We refine this unique ethos by offering a diverse and expanded approach to individual and communal well-being. This is a place to discover the ways in which we hope to help make the world a better place by experiencing the ethos of genius loci. We encourage you to explore the many different offerings and services under each project.

“I want to make ancient practices and behavioral science more integrated and accessible for everyday living - while still deeply challenging people to discover their own ability to grow and expand through new avenues of healing."

Lisa Reider sits at the intersection of entertainment, education and behavioral science. She is the founder of Genius Loci, a multi-faceted umbrella to collective of companies and projects. Lisa began her career in the music and entertainment industry working and touring with some of todays greatest artists. She credits her time as Creative Director for Vodacom Superstar as one of the pivotal experiences that allowed her to realize the greater impact she could have on the world through her work.

She has continued her career as a catalyst for change; producing award winning campaigns, television and live events, co-founding innovative femtech company Gynie, speaking at the U.N. about the impact of the entertainment industry in developing countries, and many other cultural topics at conferences around the world.

As an integrative practitioner, Lisa has an extensive background in holistic studies as an Integrative Behavioral Therapist (RBT), KRI certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher, Breathwork practitioner/trainer, and multi-modality healer. She built the foundations of her integrative practice on her case studies as a therapist, while working with adults and children struggling with C/PTSD, ADHD/ADD, CTE, Autism, Aspergers and Advanced Grief. Lisa believes an integrative approach will shift the currently fixed model of mental health towards one that is more adaptive and responsive, supporting individuals’ innate capacity to heal and find autonomy through their own empowered choices.
