Welcome to a one of a kind two-day retreat designed for anyone looking to deepen their relationship to pleasure and sexuality. The Pleasure Connection takes a mind, body and spirit approach to reconnecting with all aspects of pleasure.

Our workshops are interactive and collaborative in practice; including hands on demos, writing, drawing, breathing, processing sessions, sensing, self-exploration.

CIRCLES OF SEXUALITY (P1): We will begin to build and explore your personal sexual story or narrative through writing, journaling and group discussion. This process will help you uncover past limiting beliefs, any blocks to pleasure, strengths, preferences, and a roadmap to expand your pleasure potential.

COMMUNICATION & BOUNDARY SKILLS: Learn how to communicate your wants, needs, and desires, while practicing giving and receiving through drawing, touch, and verbal exercises.

Meet the Teachers

LISA REIDER / FOUNDER

Lisa Reider sits at the intersection of entertainment, education and behavioral science. She is founder of Genius Loci, a company that creates experiences, media and services that will allow people to better connect with themselves, others and the environment.

Lisa has over 15 years of holistic studies as an Integrative Behavioral Therapist (RBT), KRI certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher, Breathwork practitioner/trainer, and multi-modality healer.

Lisa focused the beginning of her career in behavioral health working with adults and children struggling with PTSD, ADHD, Autism, Aspergers and advanced grief. She has applied this incredibly valuable experience to her private practice (virtual & in-person), workshops and retreats for both neuro-typical and neurdiverse individuals.

She believes an integrative approach will shift the currently fixed model of mental health towards one that is more adaptive and responsive, supporting individuals’ innate capacity to heal and find autonomy through their own empowered choices. 

NICOLETTA HEIDEGGER / FOUNDER

Nicoletta Heidegger is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#110256) practicing in Los Angeles, California.

Nicoletta received her BA in Psychology from Stanford University, her MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and her Masters of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University. Nicoletta is currently pursuing her PhD in Human Sexuality from Widener. Nicoletta has completed levels I and II of the Trauma Resiliency Model (through the Trauma Resource Institute).

She sees therapy clients (CA residents only) virtually and at her unique ranch office in Los Angeles, where she offers outdoor sessions and Equine Facilitated (also called Equine Assisted) Psychotherapy and Learning (find out more on our Services page). She also offers coaching, consulting, education, and retreats to folks around the world.

 Nicoletta also creates weekly content via her growing hit show Sluts and Scholars: a sex positive, shame-free educational podcast where she tries to help keep your sex smart and your smarts sexier. 

 Nicoletta contributes regularly to other columns, podcasts, classrooms, and blogs about sex, relationships, and mental health.
